ART BUCHWALD'S CLASSIC THANKSGIVING STORY: "LE JOUR DE MERCI DONNANT."

Humorist Art Buchwald's story of Thanksgiving was first published in the New York Herald Tribune,Paris in 1953. That newspaper eventually became the International Herald Tribune of today which has published Mr. Buchwald's humorist account of the first Thanksgiving day in the U.S. since then. This IHT reprinting of the original 1953 column has now become a beloved holiday tradition.

So, here again, courtesy of the IHT is Mr. Buchwald's Thanksgiving story.

SAUDI SCHOLAR'S SUPPORT MASSACRE OF U.S. SOLDIERS IN IRAQ; HOUSE OF SAUD RESPONDS; WAHHABISM/SAUDI HISTORY.

26 prominent Saudi scholars, in accord with the Council of Iraqi Ulema ( yes, there is a second government in Iraq), support the massacre of U.S. soldiers in Iraq.

These twenty six scholars state:"Jihad (holy war) against the occupiers (U.S.A.)is a duty for all able-bodied and does not require a general leadership ... Resistance is a legitimate right ... and obliges the people of Iraq to defend themselves, their honor, their land, their oil, and their future against the colonialist alliance (U.S.A. et.al.)as they did in the past against the British colonialism ... just as human laws recognize the people's right to fight."

Pretty strong wording, naturally condemned by Prince Bandar, the Saudi ambassador to D.C., who's wife is already involved with money laudering to Saudi terrorists in the U.S.

Frank J. Gaffney, Jr., founder of the Center for Security Policy, calls this the "Saudi double game - declaring its (Saudi Arabia's) support for us (USA) in fighting terrorism while providing indispensable financing and other assistance needed for al-Qaeda and other terrorist networks to operate globally." Mr. Gaffney sees the immediate need for a "new" Reagan Doctrine that targets the Saudis.

The psychological operation (psyops) that Osama bin Laden enacted by his televised Chairman of Al-Qaeda speech just 4 days before the U.S. Presidential Election sealed President Bush's reelection for another four years.

"We (al-Qaeda) are very keen you (President Bush) do not lose in the forthcoming elections ... Your stupidity and religious extremism is what we (al-Qaeda) want." This is an excerpt of statements sent to the news agency Aljazeera on March 17th.,2004, seven and one-half months before the U.S. presidential election.

Then there was OBL's speech on Saturday, October 30th. That was a marvelous demonstration of psyops aimed at the masses in the United States to stir them into a fury to bring back Bush for four more years.

China, Russia, the Arab World, even Norway and the rest of Europe and Asia wanted Kerry, the president's opponent.

Now, the unhinged newly elected President Bush can really go all out in his GWOT (Global War On Terrorism). Perhaps a bombing of Logan Airport, Boston, Mass. where 14 World Trade center terrorists passed through in 2001.

The president would get two birds with one stone by also eliminating Harvard at the same time; Yale's (the president's alma mater) arch football rival for decades.
