NORTH KOREA COUNTERFEITING SUPER K $100 WITH HELP FROM CHINA.Super K Notes.
In the recent past counterfeit Super K $100 took three countries: North Korea, Iran, and India. North Korea supplied the rag paper necessary, Iran had the special Swiss currency presses necessary and the skilled artisans to etch the plates, and India for the proper ink.
Now North Korea is doing all three on their own and using Chinese territory and criminal gangs all in one "factory."
These notes have been circulating throughout the Middle East for years (see my blog of June 26, 2003).
The recent tip off was an FBI agent posing as a buyer who was able to purchase $1 Million worth of $100 bills for $25,000. Not a bad exchange.
Helas, the seller was caught and arrested and the whole scenario with North Korea and China unveiled.
These notes have also been recently confiscated in South Korea and are nearly undetectable from the real $100 bills.
