DANISH MILITARY ISSUING SINGING PILLOWS TO TROOPS.Denmark's military is currently involved in conflicts in Kosovo, Iraq and other hot spots. Naturally, in all these tense areas, troops have trouble sleeping with all the chaos that accompanies war going on just outside their barracks. Thus, the Danish Defense Academy has developed an experimental "singing pillow" to help lull the troops to sleep. The pillow has been dubbed Musicure.

What Musicure does is chirp like a bird. It is soft and white with built-in speakers that also release acoustic instruments like cellos along with the chirping birds.
10 pillows are in use in Kosovo. One soldier commented that the problem with the pillow was he "fell asleep too quickly."
If the experiment works, as it looks likely to be the case, then all troops will eventually begin using Music Therapy to rid them of war related stress.
