Fidel's been in power since 1959 and this year he ranks #15 as the world's worst dictator according to Parade Magazine(last year he was #13).
After numerous assassination attempts since his rise to power in 1959, Fidel has become a BIT paranoid. One of Castro's inner circle, his former butler Delfin Fernandez, is spilling everything he knows about Castro all around the Miami talk show circuit.

One of the most amusing secrets is that Castro burns his dirty underwear. Castro's chief of bodyguards, Chicho Perez, told Fernandez he does this to foil any assassination attempts by someone putting chemicals during the laundering of his underwear.
Miami can't seem to get enough of all of Fernandez's secrets, such as how the dictator has a love of Serrano hams. In fact, Fernandez was sent to Spain to bring $2,500.00 worth of the delicacy back to Cuba.
In less than a year since he became an exile from Cuba, after living 5 years in Spain, Fernandez
seems to be having the time of his life in his "Tell All" gigs on talk and TV shows.
