'US CAN'T BE TRUSTED,' 56% OF WORLD CONCLUDES.
QATAR
In an exhaustive 9 month, 18 country study on US foreign policy, concluded in March by the Chicago Council on Global Affairs, roughly 56% of the world does not trust the US to act "responsibly" in its foreign policy.
Surprisingly, the poll found that the country the US staunchly supports, Israel, supports the US "somewhat" only 81% of the time.
King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia
The study follows on the footsteps of King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia's statement on March 28, 2007 that the American occupation of Iraq was an "illegal foreign occupation..." in his speech at the opening of the Arab League .
The study was gleefully headlined in the emirate of Qatar's (Country Shown Above) major newspaper the Gulf-Times.
Qatar just, coincidentally, happens to be where the US Central Command for the entire Middle East military operations is located.
So, one might as well throw in the entire Middle East as having a "no-confidence" vote on US "intervention" foreign policy.
