KINDERGARTEN CHILDREN CAN MAKE TERRORISTS' BOMB OF CHOICE.
Kindergarten Child Painting.
The bomb of choice from Istanbul to Oklahoma City is cheap farm fertilizer.
This farm fertilizer known as ammonium nitrate is used throughout the world by farmers to increase their crops productivity.
It is highly regulated and restricted in Europe, but in the United States it is readily available. Turkey ,at the beginning of this month, was the latest nation to regulate sales of ammonium nitrate.
Officials from the Fertilizer Institute, a private D.C. lobbying group has already met with the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms to discuss how to control the sale of the fertilizer in the U.S.
The U.S. is far behind Europe's enforced control of the substance that dates back to 1980.
And the product is literally dirt cheap costing US$220 for about 2,200 pounds. Mixed with diesel fuel the combination has a force of about half the force of standard dynamite.
Obviously a global ban is not feasible. Farmers need the product.
So the producers of ammonium nitrate have come up with the clever solution of making the product into large granules so it can not be used to make bombs.
Unfortunately, the terrorists have quickly come up with a solution to overcome this feeble control attempt. It is a simple Commercial Coffee Grinder to break up the large granules that the EU had approved believing the large granules would solve the bomb making capability of the crop fertilizer. Seems the Irish Republican Army was the first to come up with this mind boggling solution to the large granules.
So the bombings will continue throughout the world with ammonium nitrate, diesel fuel and now a commercial coffee grinder
Why the biline about kindergarten children. Well that is attributed to Lt. Gen. Pisarn Wattanawongkiri, an army commander in Thailand. His direct quote is, "Even kindergarten children can make one (a bomb) if shown how." Thanks for the quote general, it makes the world seem so much safer now.
